Cleaning: Use a soft cloth or sponge with warm water and mild soap. Spray cleaners that are recommended for glass may also be used. Abrasive cleansers and harsh chemicals including bleach and trisodium phosphate should be avoided. This includes abrasive scrubbing pads as well. Spills should be wiped up promptly particularly acidic liquids including red wine, vinegar, coffee, lemon juice, etc.

Heat: Dakota Surfaces meets industry standards for heat resistance. Avoid setting objects directly from the oven or cooktop on the counter top. Using a trivet will prevent any potential discoloration or damage to the counter top.

Cutting: Cutting directly on the surface of the product may leave marks in the finish and can damage the knife. Using a cutting board or mat is advised.
